Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, preparing and sending invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate and timely posting of accounts receivable transactions. The specialist will monitor aging reports, perform debt‑collection activities, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with operations and finance teams. Daily tasks include reconciling accounts, maintaining organized records, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting month‑end closing processes. The role also involves communicating professionally with internal stakeholders and clients to support smooth cash flow and financial accuracy. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to review account data, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor aging reports. Candidates should possess finance knowledge to support accounts receivable processes, cash application, and basic accounting principles. Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and management in a clear and professional manner. Candidates should have experience in debt collection to manage overdue accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain positive customer relationships. Candidates should possess proficiency in invoicing to generate, review, and send accurate invoices and maintain detailed billing records. Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and Microsoft Excel is highly beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related finance roles is preferred.
