As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support our cause by:

• Submit billing for Medicaid and other sources for client services
• Prepare monthly spreadsheets in Excel for billing reconciliation and cash receipt posting
• Provide therapist and program Directors with new referrals and eligibility on a daily basis
• Confirm Medicaid clients continued eligibility a minimum of twice monthly
• Work with clinical staff to support clients in understanding their coverage and navigating issues
• Ensure that staff are registered with the appropriate agencies and update each RAE quarterly on staffing changes
• Back-up front desk duties as needed and other duties as assigned
• Assist the Controller and Accounting Assistant with accounting/administrative help as needed

Salary: $24-$27 per hour, full time

Requirements:

• Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred;
• Word and Excel knowledge;
• Positive attitude and professional appearance; No criminal record.
