Pharmacy Technician in Kalamazoo, MI

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a retail pharmacy environment, with an opportunity for temp-to-hire placement. This role offers a dynamic schedule with rotating start times, providing variety within a Monday through Friday workweek and no weekends initially.


Location:

• Kalamazoo, MI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:30am
• Closed Fridays at 6pm
• No weekend shifts at the start; schedule may evolve over time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription dispensing and customer service
• Accurately input data using Pioneer RX computer system
• Manage inventory and ensure medication storage compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting essential
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
