Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $5.00 to $100.00 per completed service or patient setup
- Additional Compensation: Mileage reimbursement for approved travel using personal vehicle
- Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application; mileage reimbursement provided for business travel
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home respiratory assessments and evaluate patient needs
- Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and therapies
- Set up and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen systems, PAP therapy, and infant monitors
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings per physician orders and patient needs
- Provide ongoing clinical support and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed
- Assist with orientation and training of new team members
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid RRT license
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with hospital respiratory therapy is strongly preferred
- Preferred:
- Home healthcare or DME experience
- Degree in respiratory therapy or related science
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced respiratory equipment
- Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and build trust with patients and caregivers
About the Assignment This role involves traveling within Livonia, Plymouth, Northville, and surrounding areas, providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in their homes. You'll have autonomy over your schedule, only accepting patient visits and setups that fit your availability, offering a rewarding way to supplement your income while making a positive impact in your community.
