Mechanical Engineer III

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for a top industrial equipment manufacturing client. This candidate will join a collaborative engineering team focused on designing, developing, and improving highly engineered equipment used by utility and infrastructure customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong product development experience, a hands‑on engineering mindset, and the ability to contribute immediately on complex mechanical and hydraulic systems. This role offers the opportunity to own projects from concept through production, partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, participate in prototype builds and testing, and make a direct impact on innovative products within a growing manufacturing environment. Design and develop new products, custom equipment, and product enhancements Create 3D models, engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation Perform engineering analysis including FEA and simulation validation Participate in prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities Work directly with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective Support product launches and transition designs into production Conduct field visits and gather Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback to support product development Manage engineering project timelines, deliverables, and priorities Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate cross‑functionally to solve technical and operational challenges #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
