Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services, specializing in general and vascular procedures, in a fast-paced hospital environment. Perform emergent and routine US-guided interventions while ensuring patient safety and adherence to departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate state-of-the-art GE LOGIC 9 ultrasound equipment to capture precise images.
• Perform all general and vascular ultrasound procedures independently, including US-guided thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH and CENTRICITY PACS systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by adhering to department protocols and providing outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support emergent and scheduled procedures during weekend shifts and on-call duties.
• Follow hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS and RVT certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all general and vascular ultrasound procedures, including US-guided interventions.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting.
• Be capable of working independently during weekend and on-call shifts.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
