Events Coordinator (Temp) Reston, VA Pay From: $21.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Events Coordinator 2+ years of professional experience Experience with routine web based or web supported products Experience planning virtual and on-site events Experience managing, training and supporting event volunteers onsite Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required DUTIES: Learn, interpret, and apply ASH's Ancillary Guidelines and policies when reviewing and approving affiliate meeting requests Maintain positive, service-oriented relationships with all event organizers, offering guidance on processes, timelines, and requirements Review and process a high volume of affiliate meeting requests (approximately 600 annually), ensuring accuracy, completeness, payment, and adherence to ASH requirements. Track and document the status of each request through confirmation Partner with hotel points of contact to confirm and secure appropriate meeting space for each approved affiliate event, coordinating contact between the hotel and event organizers for logistics and contracting Monitor and maintain the ASH Ancillary inbox daily, providing timely, professional responses to event organizers, hotel partners, and stakeholders Occasionally accept and process payments for ancillary events in accordance with ASH's finance procedures, ensuring accurate documentation Pull online reports and update a concise weekly report summarizing ancillary activity and key metrics for ASH staff and leadership Ad hoc assistance with administrative tasks for meeting logistics department EEO Statement Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
