Seeking a 3-15 years' Associate Attorney in Irvine with remote flexibility, licensed in CA. Keen on working on interesting cases in complex litigation? Going to trial, passionate about litigation? An AV-rated regional Defense firm is looking to bring on Associates or Senior Attorneys to help take on an existing caseload and building their litigation skillset. The ideal candidates will have the ability to handle a variety of defense work, daily in-office for younger associates and fully remote options available for senior attorneys. With multiple offices from Sacramento, Los Angeles, Irvine and San Diego, the firm specializes in Special Investigation Litigation and General Liability practice areas; they have full staff support and offer training and mentoring from SuperLawyers that are the best in this field of Insurance Defense. Areas of practice include: General Liability Defense, Casualty Insurance, Catastrophic Liability Defense, Commercial Auto, Tank and Trucking Litigation, Construction Defects, Homeowners.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Drafting motions, discovery, pleadings, briefings, taking and defending depositions; SIU/EUO experience a plus
* Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy
* Prepare and argue motions and opposition, trial prep, able to manage high volume case load
* Courtroom and jury trial experience preferred

Compensation structure is an annual base salary DOE $140K-$180K; for Senior Associates 10+ years', DOE, $180K-$230K+. Additional details on benefits and unlimited PTO available. First interview via zoom; second in-person.
