Attorney

Rand Paster Nelson LLP (RPN) is seeking a *Senior Associate, Of Counsel* or *Junior Partner* to join a dynamic and growing boutique land use law firm in Los Angeles.

We are seeking an attorney with experience in land use, entitlements, zoning, housing policy, CEQA, and related areas of law. The candidate must have excellent legal analytical, verbal and writing skills, be comfortable working in a small team while working remotely and in-person, while also handling matters individually.

We work collaboratively and creatively, and are seeking a candidate who desires the same. Our main clientele is the development community, ranging from large REITS to individual developers. This is largely a remote position, though we do have a small office in Downtown LA. Limited travel may be required depending on case work.

*Required Qualifications:*

* 5+ years of active experience in land use law, including due diligence, entitlements, state housing policy, Subdivision Map Act, CEQA review, and zoning.
* Experience in writ litigation and Coastal Commission work is beneficial, but not required.
* Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
* Excellent written, research and verbal skills.
* Experience with local agency staff and processing entitlements.

*Salary and Benefits:*

* Salary commensurate with experience and competitive with large law firms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
