Overview Bode Hotel is home to the vibrant and cozy Dawn Cafe. Dawn Cafe is searching for a LEAD BARISTA to support our talented team! Job Summary: We are seeking a Lead Barista who is as passionate about coffee as they are about customer service. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Lead Barista, you will be responsible for maintaining quality in cafe operations (crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction), and you will have the opportunity to contribute to menu creation, programming and training programs. Our Baristas are also trained on hotel operations and can assist any hotel guest with checking in, departing, or any needs in between. Open Availability Necessary. Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system for F&B order processing, Market, and hotel transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items, the hotel and local attractions and points of interest. Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
