Telecommunications Service Technician - Contract to Hire

Overview Teltron Design Group is seeking a Contract-to-Hire Telecommunications Service Technician for Columbus and Dayton, Ohio. We are seeking motivated self-starters with experience installing audio visual hardware and low voltage structured cabling, including Cat6 and fiber optic cabling. Working knowledge of routers, switches, and installation of Wireless Access Points is a plus. Leadership positions available as well. Must have own reliable transportation. Pay is negotiable based on verifiable education and confirmation of experience. We will train those with strong work ethic and aptitude. Experience with Access Control, Fire Suppression, and HVAC is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check for hire. Responsibilities Install audio visual hardware and low voltage structured cabling (Cat6, fiber optic). Install and configure networking equipment, including routers, switches, and Wireless Access Points. Assist with access control, fire suppression, and HVAC-related installations as applicable. Collaborate with team members; leadership opportunities available. Ensure completion of work in compliance with safety and quality standards.
