Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date 08/31/2026 for 22-26 weeks with a flexible end date. Weekly pay: $1,348 to $1,416 per week. Responsibilities
- Function as the scrub technician for cardiovascular operating room cases, preparing instrument sets and maintaining a sterile field according to AORN standards.
- Set up sterile fields, don sterile gowns and gloves, and assist in proper draping of the patient; receive sterile supplies and hand instruments to the surgical team.
- Ensure accurate instrument counts, document counts, and initiate corrective measures when discrepancies occur.
- Recognize changes in surgical procedures and adapt to maintain patient safety and aseptic technique; operate and handle sophisticated surgical equipment as needed.
- Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new staff; collaborate with medical, nursing, and ancillary teams to support safe patient care and environmental safety.

Requirements
- OR Tech licensure/certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or RQI) required
- Minimum 1 year of OR/CVOR experience required
- Ability to work in a surgical, fast-paced hospital environment and participate in call rotations
- Eligibility for travel assignment and ability to work at the listed location
