General Position Description: This position is a sales and marketing support role, responsible for customer service, sales of Lottery products, validation and payment of winning claims, preparation of promotional inventory, and various administrative tasks. Travel may be required; a valid driver license is essential. Essential Duties: Greet players courteously in person and by phone. Answer questions and provide information on how to play Lottery games. Assist players with prize validation and payment queries. Serve as a customer service representative for district office calls. Pay/validation operator and assist players with claims for prizes greater than \$599. Redemption of primary or secondary ticket sales. Validate and process claims and pay prizes. Perform daily and weekly cash procedures including reconciliation, documentation, deposits, and adjustments. Assist with district weekly settlement packages. Assist with general banking including making deposits. Maintain accurate inventory of Diamond merchandise issued to the district office, recording all transactions per policy. Perform monthly and quarterly inventory audits of promotional inventory. Handle issues/returns, receive, sort, and store promotional merchandise (may involve moving up to 50 lbs). Carry out warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, and organizing (may involve moving up to 50 lbs). Compile and analyze data for administrative decisions. Review and process retailer applications, renewals, online surveys, EFTs, NSF, and maintain retailer files. Perform routine clerical duties: answering/routing calls, establishing filing systems. Process or ship full/partial book returns. Manage fleet paperwork, maintain service records, coordinate maintenance, perform monthly inspections. Prepare, audit, track, and maintain records of travel expenses and vouchers. Create or update reports as directed. Develop and update district flyers. Promote and sell Lottery tickets. Participate in sales events, including setup and breakdown of promotional displays (may involve moving up to 50 lbs). Review and coordinate implementation of statutes, rules, regulations, policies, procedures. Process, track, and maintain pending Lottery purchase requisitions; perform related tasks. Perform special assignments, research, and report preparation. Operate motor vehicle as required (may include overnight trips). Perform other duties as assigned by management. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Attendance is an essential function of this position. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective communication skills. Knowledge of warehouse and district office procedures. Valid Florida driver license. Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently. Problem‑solving skills. Travel readiness, including motor vehicle operations and overnight travel. Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Computer proficiency in agency programs (e‑mail, word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel).
