Program Coordinator

Position Summary The Department of Exercise Science seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the successful implementation of the Arnold Healthy Kids Initiative research projects. The Coordinator will work under general supervision, coordinating day‑to‑day operations, assisting with project planning, participant recruitment, staff coordination, data collection, regulatory compliance, and maintaining project timelines and quality. Key Responsibilities Develop recruitment and retention protocols with study PIs and prepare Institutional Review Board materials. Train and evaluate data‑collection staff on study protocols and procedures. Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of assigned research projects, focusing on recruitment, retention, and data collection to ensure milestones are met. Support coordination of staff work assignments to ensure timely data collection and participant communication. Maintain organized project documentation and assist with preparing regular updates to the funding agency. Organize, attend, and participate in community partner meetings to present progress reports of grant activities to investigators and staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience, which may be supplemented by relevant certification, training, or education. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Expertise in using computers and the Internet. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience or interest in working with young children. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with parents, community partners, children, and the broader community.
