Primary Responsibilities

• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required


• Load Housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and ensure that all bottles are labeled correctly

• Strip all beds in checked-out rooms & drop all dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning is done


• Work in a fast paced environment to ensure rooms are properly cleaned & sanitized within 25 minutes


• Vacuum & sweep carpets & floors


• Dust & clean room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (i.e. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.)


• Clean showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items; remove used guest amenities & supplies

• Inspect rooms for safety hazards & for the operating condition of equipment


• Report lost & found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems (i.e. pets in the room) to a supervisor


• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals & respond to special guest requests


• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms & cart


• Follow all established safety protocols


• Record room status on work assignment sheets


• Other duties as assigned


Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred

• Attention to detail


• Pass a background check


• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays
