Job Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to become a vital part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This position is centered around empowering residents to sustain their independence through tailored treatment strategies, engaging therapeutic activities, and training in essential functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents in achieving their personal goals through customized treatment plans.
- Engage in therapeutic activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide training in functional skills to enhance daily living.
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document resident progress and maintain accurate records.
- Educate residents and their families about treatment plans and progress.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
