Medical Lab Tech

DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities As a Medical Lab Technician (PRN), you will play a key role in supporting accurate and timely laboratory testing. Your primary responsibilities include: Performing laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures. Conducting and evaluating analytical tests to ensure accurate and reliable results. Preparing, processing, and properly storing laboratory specimens. Maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies while performing basic quality control. Following all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Completing required documentation and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications To join our team, you will need the following qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Science program required. Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Technician/Technologist in a laboratory setting required. Current MLT/MT (ASCP) certification or registration required. Valid and current State of Louisiana license as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist, or a Temporary License pending completion of licensure application, required.
