We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members.*Benefits Effective Day 1!*Position Summary:This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning, and preparing equipment for use in various departments.Responsibilities:* Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.* Clean up excess waste on the floors.* Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.* Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals.* Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant and oil when finished.* Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, and any other items.* Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.* Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.* Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.* Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.* Perform any other work as assigned by management.Requirements: * Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.* Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).* Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.* Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.* Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.* Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.* Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.* Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend up to 10 hours.* Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.Preferred Skills:* Machine Operator experience preferred* Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred* RF Scanner experience preferredQualifications:* 3 months of work history with the same employer**LOCATION IS NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES****Relocation Assistance Eligible:**No**Work Shift:**3RD SHIFT (United States of America)**Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
