Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Mission, TX
Pay Range: $14-$14.50hr
Shift:
1st Shift 6:00am to 2:00pm -$14hr
2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm- $14.25hr
3rd shift 10:00pm- 6:00am - $14.50hr
What's the Job?
- Perform mold changes, including setup and removal, following safety guidelines
- Connect water lines, knockout bars, hydraulic/air lines, and hot runner controllers
- Participate in SMED activities and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate mold and tool locations and prepare molds for production runs
- Troubleshoot setup-related issues to support efficient production startup
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment
- Familiarity with connecting and troubleshooting water, hydraulic, and air lines, as well as hot runner controllers
- Experience using material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, and pallet jacks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics
