The Role
We are seeking an experienced, service-driven Restaurant Manager who leads by example on the floor and in the kitchen. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about the guest experience, understands the art of Italian food and beverage, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless, high-quality service
• Lead, coach, and develop a motivated team with a focus on hospitality standards and accountability
• Maintain an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure, every table, every shift
• Monitor and manage labor, food cost, inventory, and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Actively support wine and beverage service, including team education and menu knowledge
• Drive private dining and event sales — from initial inquiry through flawless execution
• Build lasting relationships with guests and the broader Wayne community
• Partner with ownership on scheduling, vendor relationships, and business growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a full-service or Italian dining environment
• A genuine passion for food, beverage, and the art of hospitality
• Strong service instincts with an unwavering attention to detail
• Proven ability to lead a team and maintain a positive, professional culture
• Excellent communication skills with guests, staff, and ownership
• Experience with wine programs and/or sommelier knowledge is a strong plus
• Event and private dining sales experience is a strong plus
• Proficiency with POS systems and standard restaurant operations software
• TIPS/ServSafe certification preferred

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time position: 45–50 hours per week
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
