Warehouse Manager

Description The Warehouse Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities including but not limited to personnel, productivity with the goal of meeting or exceeding daily performance expectations. Pay: Based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and occasional Saturdays (May vary due to workload and coverage) Required Experience for Warehouse Manager: One year minimum previous warehouse experience Forklift operator experience Manlift operator experience (cherry picker) High school graduate or equivalent preferred Requirements for Warehouse Manager: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Accellos software Positive attitude and have ability to motivate employees Ability to give special attention to detail Ability to identify letters and numbers Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities Planning/organizing and follow up skills Quality control - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality Adaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance Communication - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills up and down organizational structure Benefits for Warehouse Manager: Medical Vision Dental Disability Life Insurance 401K with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Personal Days Available Employee Discount Casual Dress Code Health Savings Account Tuition Reimbursement Options Available Warehouse Manager duties include but are not limited to: Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management Supervise employees to ensure productivity Ensure that warehouse is clean, neat and well organized to ensure each job can be done efficiently Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders Stock parts on racks in proper location Pull orders from warehouse stock and distribute parts according to end destination Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory Organize and secure product properly in preparation to be transported or moved Load trucks and secures product Administer appropriate disciplinary action as needed and give input on performance evaluations Monitor hours worked by employees and adhere to allotted hours Report absence of employees via computer Manage assigned employees’ timecards Evaluate and administer subordinate employee’s performance reviews Communicate the daily summary email as directed Secure the building at the close of business All other duties as assigned by National Warehouse Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr MEYER DISTRIBUTING INC
