Seamstress/Tailor

Position Overview The Seamstress/Tailor will maintain all employee uniforms, produce, alter, store, clean, and organize them, and repair damaged linen and upholstery. This is a full‑time, 1st shift position at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center. Responsibilities Produce, alter, and clean employee uniforms. Repair damaged linen, upholstery, and bedspreads. Affix name labels and inventory tags to all uniforms. Assist uniform attendants with laundering, steaming, and issuing uniforms. Order and maintain inventory of sewing supplies, buttons, labels, and inventory tags. Qualifications Previous seamstress experience required. Ability to operate sewing machines and other sewing equipment. Good hand‑eye coordination for hand‑sewing small pieces of cloth. Compensation & Benefits Pay rate: $20.25 per hour.
