Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status, contractions, and progression.
- Administer medications and analgesia per protocol; monitor for adverse effects and adjust care as needed.
- Assist with labor and delivery, cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery; support patient education and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team; document findings accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and implement established protocols to ensure patient and newborn safety.
- Promote infection control practices, pain management, and family-centered care throughout the perinatal period.

Requirements
- 2+ years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- BSN degree required
- EOW certification required
- Availability to work the listed shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Ability to function effectively in a hospital labor and delivery setting
