Stockroom Attendant

This role is a Stockroom Attendant at our Axon facility in Raleigh, NC, reporting to the Axon Materials Manager. Responsibilities Assist with physical inventory bin maintenance and cycle counting Place received materials, parts, and supplies into the correct locations or request the appropriate department Verify that products and materials are in proper locations Interface with Sales and Purchasing regarding incoming parts and outgoing orders Maintain and modify inventory bins to accommodate new items or additional space Modify parts when applicable Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, parcel, and LTL shipping Stage parts for customer orders, including: Remove product items from inventory bins using a pick ticket Accurately process the removed items from the MRP system Compare identifying information and quantities on the packing slip against the customer order, count items, and note discrepancies Place items in containers and wrappers Properly pack the part/product for shipment Ship packages via specified carriers such as Federal Express, UPS, and LTL Prepare records of shipment and bills of lading Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems Qualifications High School diploma or GED 6+ months experience in inventory control and shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment Good organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork ability with co-workers and other departments Attention to detail Physical strength and agility to pack, unpack, and lift cartons weighing 50 pounds or greater Knowledge of Federal Express, UPS, and international shipping procedures Ability to handle a multi-tasked role Dependable, punctual with excellent attendance Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive medical and dental plans Life insurance Generous paid time off program Retirement savings plan with company match No waiting period for benefits—eligible on the first day of employment Location & Reporting Axon facility in Raleigh, NC.
