Enterprise Account Executive, TOLA

Remote - Candidate location Austin or Dallas

  • Territory - Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

  • Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong background in phishing security, secure email, or adjacent cybersecurity technologies, with experience selling enterprise security solutions into organizations with 2,500+ employees.

Cofense connects phishing-specific AI, expert insight, and automation to expose unknown threats, neutralize active attacks, and reduce future risk.

Our expert-supervised AI, combined with real-time intelligence from 35M+ trained users, detects advanced phishing attacks other solutions miss and remediates them in minutes. Cofense delivers high-confidence alerts that reduce false positives and identify false negatives, improving security team efficiency. Real-world simulations continuously train employees to recognize and report what technology can’t catch. Cofense augments your existing email defenses, covering phishing detection and response gaps.

We’re looking for enterprise sales professionals who are passionate about leveraging AI in their prospecting, understand the nuances of solution selling, and bring innovative ideas to drive new business. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Account Executive is responsible for aggressively building a pipeline, delivering revenue, and expanding the Cofense market share in assigned accounts

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals to continue our growth trajectory
  • Build and expand relationships with key decision-makers in information security across multiple industries
  • Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, technical presentations, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing
  • Leverage modern AI-driven tools and techniques to improve prospecting, account research, customer engagement, pipeline development, and deal execution
  • Utilize AI and data insights to prioritize opportunities, personalize outreach, improve productivity, and accelerate sales cycles
  • Represent Cofense at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences
  • Travel as required (approximately 30%)
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • 7+ years successful enterprise sales experience in outside software sales of information security services or products
  • Proven expertise managing complex enterprise sales opportunities from prospect to close
  • Ability to provide live and web-based demonstrations of the Cofense platform without Sales Engineer support (SE support available as needed)
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast accurately and manage pipeline within Salesforce.com
  • Experience leveraging modern AI-enabled sales tools and workflows for prospecting, pipeline generation, account prioritization, messaging, and deal strategy
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to apply insights and analytics to improve sales execution and conversion rates
  • Established network and relationships within the information security industry
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority opportunities and tasks simultaneously
  • Self-starter with strong accountability, ownership mindset, and bias for action
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
