Your Daily Pursuits

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, order crucial diagnostic tests, and create tailored care strategies
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in partnership with physicians (dependent on your credentials)
• Guide patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribe medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice
• Participate actively in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and holistic care
• Document all encounters meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates (or ability to obtain these within 90 days)
