Days, 8-hr shifts, Monday - Friday and rotational Saturday and Sunday shifts. Variable start times: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 AM. Possible call coverage, if needed. 8 or 10-hr shifts Can start 7/20, 7/27, or 8/3/2026 Minimum one-year cardiac experience required. Registered in echocardiography (RCS or RDCS). Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. Care for patients from pediatrics through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics AFCH, inpatient units including AFCH (primary), UH, UH Cath Lab and UH Emergency Department If you want to develop and grow as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer and maximize and expand your career experience, there is no better place to do so. Shift start times are staggered starting at 0700 and then on the 1/2 hour until 0900if the candidate has the required certifications, education verification will no longer be required. Graduate of an ultrasonography program and/or registered by the ARDMS or CCI required or Completion of a (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program preferred or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or a relevant health sciences field preferred Travelers are required to float as needed. Local Rule: 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted. Minimum experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
