This role involves managing a team of operators, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the die cutting team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Plan and coordinate die cutting operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Monitor the quality of die cut products, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality control, and maintenance to optimize workflow and resolve any issues. Train and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and maintenance activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Manage inventory of die cutting materials and supplies, ensuring availability for uninterrupted operations. Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or an associate degree in a related field is preferred. Required Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in die cutting operations or a related manufacturing environment. Proven track record of supervisory or leadership experience within a production or manufacturing setting. Experience with various die cutting machinery and techniques, including but not limited to rotary, flatbed, and laser die cutting. Required Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of die cutting processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
