Engineering Process Technician

Job Overview Onsite Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician needed for an 18‑month contract to hire role with YOH's client based in Santa Clara, California. Location & Work Hours Work location: Santa Clara, California. Shift: Mon – Friday 8‑hour night shift (midnight to 8 AM); Friday – Sunday 12‑hour night shift (midnight to 12 PM). Compensation Pay rate: $32 – $37 per hour. Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations. Actual pay is determined by an applicant's experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications as listed in the job description. Experience Experience: 0 – 2 years. Responsibilities Supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations Coordinating with engineering on sample priorities Mounting, dismounting, cleaning, and handling customer samples – coupons and wafers Tracking and maintaining order of incoming jobs and their execution Operating laboratory process equipment and instrumentation Executing metrology jobs using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools Performing analysis of metrology images with proprietary algorithms and software, using predefined recipes Preparing reports according to predefined templates Interfacing with requestors to understand detailed requirements and communicating results; helping the lab monitor wafer in process (WIP) and maintain throughput Interfacing with HW team for troubleshooting and executing tool maintenance Minimum Requirements College degree in Materials, Electrical, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field Basic data analytics skills Hands‑on ability for lab operations, including sample handling and equipment operations Team player Semiconductor experience is nice to have, but not a must 0–2 years of experience Benefits Medical, Prescription, Dental & Vision Benefits (for employees working 20+ hours per week) Health Savings Account (HSA) (for employees working 20+ hours per week) Life & Disability Insurance (for employees working 20+ hours per week) MetLife Voluntary Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Direct Deposit & weekly payroll Referral Bonus Programs Certification and training opportunities Equal Opportunity Employment Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
