Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process
• Operate independently as the sole L&D nurse on shift, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and autonomy
• Manage an average of approximately 36 births per month
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate care with the broader clinical team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in OB/Labor & Delivery nursing
• Ability and comfort working independently as the only L&D nurse on shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Experience in a low-volume or solo-coverage L&D environment
