Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with providing work orders & inventory records for distribution accounts. People: Supervisewarehouse teamdaily workflow Assignduties and examinework for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Maintaina productive staff by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development. Applysound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining associates Manageassociate performance and recommends promotions, wage increases and terminations. Planstaffing level of distribution warehouse personnel. Assistin preparing work procedures, work schedules, and expedites workflow. Identify with manager, develop, and mentor your No. 2. Operations: Utilize Expeditors proprietary distribution software and coach the team on it\'s use. Oversee and ensure compliance with Expeditors Operational Process Standards. Day to day supervision to ensure compliance with Federal, Stand and local regulations. Customer Service - Support the manager and or the sales department where needed: Makeintroductory contact with new accounts and maintain effective relationships with existing accounts. Addressthe more complex and non-routine customer issues and requests related to warehouse operations Coordinatenew accounts, gathering all necessary information and assigning accounts to the warehouse team Auditall new accounts and follow up on responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator to ensure that customer needs have been met. Finance: Workwith the Distribution Manager to help develop and recommend the annual departmental operating budget, making said budget consistent with the desired customer service levels and necessary equipment upgrades. Interactwith credit and collections personnel regarding payment problems. Retention: Assistin following up on current customers and conducting Quality Management Reviews (QMRs). Directand controlthe release of orders to shipping to ensure timely delivery to customers and meet company efficiency goals. Directs and oversees order processing and ensures that data entries on documents such as delivery orders and inventory reports are accurate and timely. Make recommendation to Senior Management on programs to improve operation of the customer service function. Documentation/Reporting: Trackon-time delivery and other performance measures. Providenecessary reports to management. Gather and analyzedata concerning department operations and customer requirements. Distributereports to various functional areas as required. Compliance: Promote compliance bydiligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations. Systems: Develops procedures to ensure the efficient operation and utilization of warehouse equipment. Determines and recommends enhancements for efficient operations Be involved and suggest system/process improvements. Additional : Other duties may apply on an as-needed basis. Qualifications Knowledge: Knowledge of customer relationship management software programs. Inventory management, budgeting, and accounting knowledge is required. Expeditors company policies and procedures knowledge. A good understanding of Expeditors’ products, services and systems. Strong market and competition knowledge. Skills: Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results. Requires direct warehouse-related experience in customer service, with management skills such as planning, supervising, controlling, organizing and staffing. Communication skills are necessary to establish effective working relationships. Behaviors: Self-reflecting and open to feedback. Initiative and ability to work in autonomy. Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training. Technical Skills Strong understanding of software development principles. Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate. Experience with Microsoft Copilot and M365 technologies. Familiarity with data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture. Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and prompt engineering. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently. Business Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to understand complex operational processes. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing automations, applications, or digital solutions. Experience leading cross-functional projects. Experience working in operations,logistics, finance, or enterprise shared services environments. Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, or related technologies.
