Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY 10055
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Pay Range: $140,000–$145,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, and 401(k)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
No weekends or on-call responsibilities.

Position Overview

Photon Medical Group, a physician-owned healthcare practice and direct clinical employer, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an onsite employee health clinic at a designated Midtown Manhattan service location.

This W-2 clinical role supports preventive care, point-of-care testing, vaccinations, screenings, and employee wellness services in a professional workplace setting. It is well suited to an NP who values a consistent weekday schedule, clear role expectations, and structured clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Respond to onsite medical situations involving employees.
• Administer vaccines, including flu and COVID vaccines, pursuant to standing orders, protocols, and documentation requirements.
• Perform rapid point-of-care testing, including COVID, flu, strep, glucose, and cholesterol testing, as needed.
• Support biometric screenings and preventive health services.
• Provide lifestyle coaching related to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and long-term wellness in accordance with program guidelines.
• Recommend appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
• Manage patient appointments and clinic workflows.
• Maintain onsite medical equipment and supplies, including proper storage and restocking.
• Complete accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
• Maintain the confidentiality of health information and comply with applicable privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
• FNP-C, FNP-BC, or ACNP certification preferred.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational health, or a similar clinical setting.
• Knowledge of common health concerns, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and preventive care.
• Interest or experience in employee wellness, lifestyle coaching, diabetes prevention, or occupational health.
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite clinic setting and follow established protocols.
• Reliable commute to Midtown Manhattan.

Employment Structure

This full-time W-2 position is employed through Photon Medical Group's New York professional corporation, which is owned and directed by licensed physicians. VitalCheck Wellness Inc. provides administrative support for the program.
