Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic educational setting, working with students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. This full-time, contract role places you at the heart of supporting young learners’ communication, language, and academic growth through both direct and indirect services. Key Requirements:
- Active California SLP License or CA CTC
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, school-based services, or teletherapy
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, implementing IEPs, and delivering therapy services
- Comfortable managing a caseload of students with diverse and differentiated needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy (both in-person and virtually as required)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student strengths and needs
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and families
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and comply with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate closely with staff and parents to foster students’ academic and social success
