Server Assistant

Perform the duties of setting tables, serving beverages, table maintenance and stocking stations to ensure guest satisfaction.

1. Ensure tables are clean and properly set for guests.

2. Serve and replenish beverages and other accessories throughout the meal.

3. Remove plates, silverware and other food service ware from table throughout meal.

4. Stock stations with glasses, silverware, napkins, ashtrays, matches and plates.

5. Transport soiled dishes and linens to the appropriate area.

6. Fill condiment and other service containers.

7. Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

8. Update table availability in the scheduling system.

9. Complete opening and closing side work including filling condiment containers and stocking service stations.

10. May transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate guest.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience - Previous restaurant experience preferred. Good communication skills required.

Licenses/Certifications - Food Handler's card and Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) card may be required.

Ability to speak and hear. Close and distance vision. Frequent walking and standing. Frequently lifts/carries up to 5 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
