About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, C-EFM, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of labor experience in a hospital with a monthly delivery rate of 350-400 Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The facility has 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/postpartum beds. Patient ratios are generally 1:1 or 2:1. The role may include floating to postpartum as needed. Required certifications include Basic Life Support, Continuous Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Preferred skills include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. The position requires a strong understanding of external fetal monitoring. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Candidates should have a personality fit aligned with a collaborative team environment. Scrub color is black, with guidelines for acceptable attire.
