Our culinary team prides itself on delivering high-quality cuisine across multiple dining areas, including our upscale dining rooms, patio, pub, and pool bar.Position Summary:We are seeking passionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Line Cooks to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. The ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards under pressure.Key Responsibilities:Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients.Prepare dishes to order during service, following specific recipes and portion controls.Execute a variety of cooking techniques, including grilling, broiling, sautéing, and frying.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout the shift.Properly store, label, date, and rotate food products.Adhere to all local health department regulations and safety standards.Assists with breakdown, cleaning, and sanitizing of the kitchen at the end of the shift.Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 1 year of line cook experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or country club setting.Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards.Ability to read, understand, and execute tickets and recipes accurately.Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Serv-Safe or local food handler certification is preferred but not requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift).Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.Comfort working in environments with high temperatures (near grills, ovens, and stoves).What We OfferCompetitive hourly wage: $18-$23 per hour (commensurate with experience).Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees (Medical, Dental, Vision).Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.401(k) retirement plan with club match.Complimentary staff meals during shifts, and golf privileges on select days.
