Medical Receptionist - Full Time

Starting hourly: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience as a medical receptionist. Silver Creekâ¯Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingâ¯San Joseâ¯and surrounding communities for over 20 years.⯠We are known for providing the highest quality individualized care for our patients and our team of highly skilled physical therapistsâ¯whoâ¯areâ¯passionate about helping patients achieve their goals.â¯Â Currently, we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Saratoga location. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:30am - 6:30pm ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
⢠Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
⢠Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
⢠Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
⢠Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group ⢠Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
⢠Scheduling patientâs initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
⢠Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus
⢠Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
⢠Ability to maintain confidential documents
⢠Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
⢠Possess strong team player attributes
⢠Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients nearby Education and Experience
Education : High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
Experience : At minimum, 1+ years of consistent experience as a medical receptionist. Â Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
