Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele Float

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float Nurse. This position will involve working across various units to meet the needs of the institution, providing care for a diverse patient population ranging from ER boarded patients to telemetry and medical-surgical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple units, providing comprehensive nursing care as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality while delivering high-quality nursing care.
• Manage patient assessments, create care plans, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities on smaller units, including staffing management and patient flow coordination.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical settings preferred.
• Must have experience working as a nurse in the United States; Canadian experience is not accepted.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with EPIC preferred.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. The nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on unit acuity.
