In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while addressing their specific respiratory needs.ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual respiratory needs.Manage ventilator settings and provide trach care for patients requiring advanced support.Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.Educate patients and families on respiratory health and home care techniques.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical evaluations.RequirementsCurrent state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.Basic Life Saving (BLS) certificationStrong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.Knowledge of ventilator management and emergency medicine protocols.Ability to work effectively with geriatric populations is a plus.Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hourSupplemental Pay:Bonus opportunitiesDifferential pay - Nights and WeekendsBenefits:Employee assistance programEmployee discountPaid time offParental leaveReferral programRelocation assistanceTuition reimbursementShift:12-hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftLicense/Certification:CRT (Required)RRT (Preferred)BLS Certification (Preferred)Are you ready for an incredible journey?
