Staff Accountant - Fund Accounting (Early Career- 1-4 Years Experience)
\nJoin a dynamic investment environment where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to fund accounting, financial reporting, and private investment operations.
\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support accounting and reporting activities across a diverse portfolio of private investment funds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career (including relevant internship experience) to build a strong foundation in private equity and alternative investments.
\nYou will work closely with experienced finance professionals, fund administrators, and external partners in a collaborative environment designed to support learning, growth, and long-term career development in fund accounting.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records \n
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank and cash reconciliations across multiple funds \n
- Monitor daily cash activity and assist with cash management processes \n
- Support maintenance of investor capital account balances under supervision \n
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and deliverables \n
- Prepare investor capital account statements using fund accounting systems \n
- Contribute to quarterly reporting and annual GAAP financial statement preparation \n
- Support audit and tax processes by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors \n
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including fund managers and legal advisors \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance \n
- Early Career, 1- 4 years of accounting experience (internships and entry-level roles considered) \n
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills \n
- Exposure to partnership accounting, private funds, or real estate is a plus \n
- Prior experience in public accounting or a public accounting internship is preferred \n
- Candidates with a background in audit or assurance, particularly those with exposure to investment funds or financial services clients, are encouraged to apply \n
