This outpatient physical therapy office is hiring a Director of Physical Therapy to manage clinical care, staff support, and operational flow. The position pays $90,000-$120,000 per year and follows a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.
This is a practical leadership role for a Physical Therapist who understands outpatient care and wants to guide both patients and staff through a clear, organized treatment process.
Role Responsibilities
Direct outpatient physical therapy operations
Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals
Provide direct therapy services based on patient needs
Lead clinical staff and support daily team coordination
Review documentation, treatment plans, and patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and payer standards
Assist with clinic workflow, scheduling, and provider communication
Support a positive patient experience and consistent care delivery
Requirements
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
Ability to lead teams with professionalism and clear communication
