Responsibilities / Job Duties:

• Review and validate basic prescription drug refill requests according to established clinical policies and procedures.

• Assist in preparing, dispensing, picking, and packing medications and specialized supplies for routine patient deliveries.

• Maintain cleanroom and pharmacy equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and surface/laminar flow hood sanitization.

• Receive, stock, and store incoming supplies and materials while monitoring expiration dates, managing inventory levels, and identifying shortages.

• Maintain basic patient profile information and coordinate routine delivery schedules to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.

• Active National Certification required ( PTCB or NHA / CPhT ).

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience required.

• Preferred: Prior experience in a closed-door, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or hospital cleanroom setting.

Schedule / Shift:

• Training Period: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• Post-Training Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday with shifts falling within an 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM daytime window. No late nights, no weekends!
