We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to help children, adolescents, and families build greater stability at home, at school, and in the community. This field-based contract opportunity serves clients throughout Midland, Odessa, and surrounding communities. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred because the role may support Spanish-speaking clients and families across the service area. Please note: This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, not an employment position. As a contracted QMHP, you will provide authorized, Medicaid-aligned behavioral health services while meeting applicable documentation, billing, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities may include: Conducting biopsychosocial assessments, as assigned or appropriate Providing skills training, crisis intervention, medication training and support, and case management Developing and updating crisis and safety plans Coordinating with caregivers, care partners, schools, and treatment team members Delivering face-to-face services in approved settings, including homes, schools, and community locations Completing accurate and timely progress notes, service records, and other required documentation Exercising independent professional judgment within applicable QMHP service standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field Qualified as, or eligible to serve as, a QMHP/QMHP-CS Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Midland–Odessa service area Ability to work independently in a community-based service model Strong written documentation and time-management skills Professional and empathetic communication with clients, families, and community partners Compensation Compensation is governed by the Contractor Agreement and applicable Compensation Plan. Base service fee: $25–$28 per approved billable hour Monthly accelerator enhancements: An additional $4–$9 per billable hour may be earned based on total monthly billable hours Mileage support: If offered, monthly support of $100–$800 may be available based on verified eligible business mileage; normal commuting is excluded Ramp-up support: Up to 45 days of time-limited minimum-pay support may be available when eligibility requirements are met Client recruitment incentive: $50 may be available for each newly enrolled client with confirmed active insurance Payment Schedule Services performed from the 1st through the 15th are paid on the 22nd Services performed from the 16th through the end of the month are paid on the 7th Independent Contractor Terms This is a 1099 independent contractor role; employee benefits are not provided Administrative time, travel time, and meetings are not separately compensated unless expressly authorized under the Compensation Plan or a signed statement of work Training and meeting opportunities may be offered and are generally voluntary unless otherwise stated Why McHur Care?
