Qualifications and Experience

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
• Previous experience in school systems or pediatric settings preferred
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Understanding of IEP process and ability to develop individualized treatment plans
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services and interventions to eligible students
• Conduct assessments, design tailored treatment programs, and set measurable goals
• Attend IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with teachers and families
• Track student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate records
• Educate staff and families on supportive strategies, equipment, and mobility aids
• Adhere to all state, federal, and school-based policies and requirements
