Job Description Business Development Officer: REO Capital, LLC – Is Seeking a Business Development Officerfor Capital Raising with Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds. We pay a percentageof our Retainers + Success Fees +Profit Sharing Bonus. This position leads to a- Managing Director position! We are Seeking a Business Development Officer - to lead the growth of our firm with marketing to Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds & Hedge Funds that require a Capital Raise! As a BDO you will be working on 5 funds at a time andachieve a 7figure Bonus! Alsodevelop, maintain, & grow effective key relationships with Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds& Hedge Funds. This position will be responsible for all aspects of Marketing the Funds we raise capital for to RIA's, Family Offices, Fund of Funds, Private Banks, Insurance companies, Endowments & Foundations! This position will ensure growth through properDistribution Channels, direct contact, warm calls and managing all business development activities that will grow our Capital Raising Business & ensure these business development activities are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy. Thus the individual should come from a Strong Sales background in Investment Banking or Capital Raisingand use to a eat what you kill background, Plus he/she should be Series 79 or 82 plus a 63 Licensed. You need to develop relationships with a Great Rolodex and you need to be Hungry if your going to make 7figures! This Business Development position will eventually be a Managing Directorposition with REO Capital ! Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer – John Denes External relationships: Private Equity Funds & Hedge Funds and New Funds Internal relationships: The Business Development Team, Senior Management. ReTainer Fees pay 25% of each Fund, Success Fees = annually for completing FiveCapital Raises + $25,000 Profit Sharing Plan Bonus Annually for a Total annual Comp package of up to $3,325,000! Hours: 9-5 pm + Traveling when necessary. Location: – Los Angeles- REMOTE! Basic Areas of Knowledge and Skills Good project and time management skills Familiarwith Fundraising for Private Equity, Venture Capital or Hedge Funds! Strong phone skills - are needed. Organizational skills Strong Motivation To Succeed Tenacious Drive Driven by Monetary Rewards Ability to work without supervision Ability to work collaboratively Work on Rolodex of Wealth Management firms, Family Offices etc... daily with emails & calls. You should have experience in Business Development or Capital Raising and already have your Series 79 & 63 License or you will need to pass the Series 82 and Series 63 Securities Licenses!!! Qualifications Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities This key person must have come from a Business Development Role and can contribute to the development, growth of REO Capital’s visionby working on new funds and calling on funds we are raising capital for! Support the overall process of Capital Raising by calling & emailing clients with funds we are working on. Develop, new clients, and report onbusiness development’s strategy, ensuring capital raising businessis achieved and executed by the CEO. Develop new Leads with other Private Equity Firms, Venture Capital Firms, & Hedge Fund Firms for future business & existing business. Management of the Overall Business Development Functions : Impact the profitability of the company through proper Private Equity & Hedge Fund Contacts developing results in new business development for REO Capital. Requires Strong Communication & Marketing Skills, Sales & Great Phone Skills Need to be tenacious and not get down when you recieve No for an answer !
