Property Accountant

We are partnering with a growing real estate company in the Salem, NH area seeking a Property Accountant to join their accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day property accounting functions and requires prior experience with Yardi software. Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations Review and analyze property operating expenses and variances Record journal entries and assist with month-end close activities Maintain tenant ledgers and support accounts receivable functions Work closely with property managers on financial reporting and budgeting Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies Utilize Yardi for accounting, reporting, and property management functions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of property accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Roesseljoy
