Senior Accountant

Location: Greenwich, CT | Hybrid: 1 Day WFH (after 90 days)

Reports to: Assistant Controller


Overview


A growing, stable healthcare organization is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support revenue and cost of service accounting. This is a hands-on role with strong visibility and a clear path to future Manager growth for someone who brings initiative and ownership. The culture is highly collaborative and communicative across all levels.


Key Responsibilities

• Revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Billing, invoicing, and A/R oversight
• Cost of service accounting and margin analysis
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and Strategic Accounts
• Support audits, controls, and process improvements

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or accounting-focused dual major)
• 4-7 years of accounting experience
• Strong Revenue & Cost of Service accounting background
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• No direct reports in this role

Nice to Have

• CPA (preferred, not required)
• Public accounting with healthcare audit exposure
• Healthcare industry experience

Compensation

• Base salary target: $95,000-$105,000
• Annual discretionary bonus
