Electrician

Job Overview Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, panels and fixtures for PV systems. Tasks may include: Connect solar panels and inverters and other high-voltage equipment to the solar sites. Repair or replace PV-related wiring, equipment and fixtures; Assemble, install, test and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances. Test PV electrical systems. Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL) Proficiency in skills and abilities relating to: circuit breakers, motors, control circuits, transformers, generators, exciters, & batteries Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidate will possess commercial & industrial experience Possess CDL & Heavy Equipment Operating Experience (Verifiable) Position Description & Responsibilities This Position is responsible for maintenance in solar power fields, cable splicing, panel replacement, 1500 D.C. Volts Field trouble shooting, inverter maintenance & repair, and fault locating. Expected to safely perform all associated tasks. Maintain & Operate all tools, equipment, and vehicles in an efficient manner. May be required to work extended hours & travel throughout the state of Florida. Must be able to work in direct sunlight and/or at night. Must be physically able to perform all assigned tasks. Emphasis on Safety Culture. Ability to work independently. Potential candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components and equipment to include the use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and amp clamps. Operates various types of Test instruments. Utilizes hand, power tools/equipment necessary to support a safe and productive work environment. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must follow all company rules and policies. Compensation Job Type: Full-time Competitive Compensation based on Experience Level Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, Vision Programs available after 90 day probationary period reached. 401(k) with company match and contribution available after one year of employment.
