Monday-Friday: 9AM - 5PM

35 hours per week

$50 hourly pay

Overview: The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting assessments, assessing basic health and medical needs, and coordinating healthcare with community medical providers, and psychiatrist/NPP.

Requirements:

NYS License Registered Nurse
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
AHA BLS Certification
1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
Collaborate with the ACT Team to deliver evidence-based nursing interventions and treatments.
Monitor and administer psychiatric medications, ensuring compliance and addressing any side effects.
Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Coordinate with community resources, including primary care providers, social services, and housing agencies, to enhance the continuum of care.
Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and supervision sessions.
