Senior Maintenance Technician - Production & Machinery Lead

Overview The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting machinery and equipment maintenance while serving as a flexible production resource across the shop floor. This position ensures equipment remains safe and operational while providing support in multiple manufacturing roles as needed. Job Duties Inspect machines to ensure equipment is operating safely and properly Perform Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) according to established ISO schedules Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and support ongoing machine reliability efforts Support daily operations and production requirements across departments Assist with additional maintenance or production duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma required with emphasis in machine shop, wood shop, or metal shop Trade school education or two-year degree in metal shop preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a metal fabrication or welding shop environment Experience with machine repair and maintenance, including PMIs Previous supervisory experience preferred (2+ years) Ability to read and interpret shop drawings EEO Statement Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sterling Engineering, Inc.
